Maurice Bryant

Maurice Bryant, 80, of Garrard County, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his home. Born on Thursday, October 26, 1944, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Walter & Merley Saylor Bryant. Maurice was an excavator & heavy equipment operator. He attended the Paint Lick Church of God, and enjoyed gardening.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Wayne Bryant; grandchild, Jackie Shay Horn, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Broughton Bryant; daughters, Sherry Jo Bryant, and Lisa Naylor; brother, John Bryant, all of Garrard County; grandchildren, Kyle Abney, Austin Naylor, Justin Isaacs & Briley Isaacs; great-grandchildren, Austin & Houston Naylor.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Jordan Cemetery, in Narrow Gap. Pallbearers include Tyler Maddox, Hayden Maddox, Alvin Coleman, Austin Naylor, Randy Isaacs, Jeff Styles, and Michael Broughton.
