Minnie Ann Naylor, 75, of Paint Lick, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her daughters home surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 23, 1950 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late William O. & Nora Belle Hughes Naylor. Minnie was a former janitor at Camp Dick Elementary School. She had a love for the outdoors, and also enjoyed crafting, raising sheep, and mowing the lawn. Minnie was a proud volunteer for Heritage Hospice, and was a member of White Lick Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Wayne Naylor, and her son-in-law, James Dodson.
Survivors include a daughter, LeAnna Belle (the late James) Dodson, of Lancaster; sons, William Clay Barker, and Jamie Ross (Erika) Barker, both of Lancaster, and Jeremy Scott (Kayla) Barker, of Paint Lick; grandchildren, Jesse (Morgan) Dodson, and Savannah (Gage) Horn, Peyton Hacker, Zeke Barker, Jaxson Barker, Cooper Barker, Molly Barker, Ava Barker, and Lindy Barker; great-grandchildren, Parker & Landry Horn, and her special friend, Judy Preston.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Stewart officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include William Clay Barker, Jamie Ross Barker, Jeremy Scott Barker, Alan “Peanut” Edgington, Jesse Dodson, and Gage Horn. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, March 3, 2025 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Minnie’s memory may go to Heritage Hospice.
