Mosella (Cupp) Stump

Mosella Cupp Stump, 87 of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Maplewood Health & Rehab. Born on January 15, 1938, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Moses & Cora  Cupp. Mosella was a bookkeeper and office manager at the Garrard County Stockyards for many years. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. Mosella loved her dogs & cats, and enjoyed drawing, bowling, and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Cupp, and her sister, Bessie Morris.

Survivors include her son, Ricky (Jenny) Stump of Lancaster; daughter, Joy (the late Marvin “Bo”) Renfro of Paint Lick; grandchildren, Rodney (Kacie) Renfro, Kara (Sam) Taylor, Nicholas (Katharyn) Stump, Myles Stump; great-grandchildren, Tahirih & Tristan Renfro, Lucille & Alice Taylor, and Amelia & Micah Stump, as well as a host of nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Stump officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rodney & Kacie Renfro, Kara & Sam Taylor, Nicholas & Katharyn Stump, and  Myles Stump. The family would like to express a special thank you to Heritage Hospice & Maplewood Health & Rehab for their support and care.
