Patty Hughes-Lawrence, 73, of Danville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Sunday, January 7, 1951 in Burgin, she was a daughter of the late Kelly Vernon & Stacha Burchell Hughes. Patty was a former employee for Kentucky Corrections as a guard at North Point Training Center. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, needle-point sewing, and watching westerns and true crime shows. Patty was a Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lawrence; brothers, Johnnie, Hollis and Garnett; sisters, Ruby Gayle and Laverne.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Caren) Graham, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Kellie (Scott) Evans, of Danville; sisters, Sandy, of Bowling Green, Vickie, of Florida and Debbie, of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Zachary, Riley, Thomas and Dustin.
