Stan “Flea” Ewing, 69, of Marathon, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Lancaster, Kentucky surrounded by his family. Born May 24, 1951 in Galsburg, Illinois, he was the son of Marilyn Abrahamson & the late James Richard “J.R.” Ewing. Stan was a master plumber and a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the D.A.V., American Legion Post #0154, in Marathon, Folrida, a member of the Moose Lodge, a certified scuba diver, & a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Galsburg, Illinois.
Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Abrahamson Ewing, of Stanford; sisters, Heidi (Robert) Bell, of Lancaster, Mary Lynn (Stewart) Clague, of Vero Beach, Florida; nieces, April Smith, of Lancaster, Jessie (Kenneth) Wakefield, of Vero, Beach, Florida; nephews, Dustin Bell & Mason (Samantha) Bell, both of Lancaster.
Stan’s wishes for cremation have been honored, and burial will follow at a later date at Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Friends & family may share memories or leave condolences on his tribute wall at: www.ramsey-young.com. Ramsey-Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
