Richard "Rick" Dickerson

Richard “Rick” Dickerson, 61, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his family home surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 15, 1964, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Nellie Anderson & Wilburn Dickerson. Rick was an umpire for NSA Softball for many years. He loved spending time with his children, and his grandchildren. He was an avid UK sports fan.

Survivors include his sons, Jordan ( Kallie Turner) May, of Mt. Sterling, Mike (Mandi Lilly) May, of Lexington; brother, J.R. Napier; grandchildren, Jaxson & Benson May, Justice & Journey May; special friend & caregiver, Tammy Jane, of Winchester; special friends, Carla Harrigan, Kim Emeric, & Crystal Taylor, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rick’s wishes for cremation have been honored, and a celebration of life with family & friends will be held at a later date.
