Roger Davis Sr

Roger D. Davis, Sr., 65, of Highland Avenue in Lancaster, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center. Born May 15, 1950 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Si & Betty Lamb Davis. He had been a longtime farmer and a member of the Church of God. His survivors include his wife Bonnie Lou Bray Davis, two sons, Jimmy Dale, Roger Dale Davis, Jr., a daughter, Linda Gale (Barry) Adams, and sister, Barbara Keller, all of Lancaster, and four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Allen Sparks, with burial to follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Helton, Kevin Rhodus, Ronald Howard, Doug Ridner, Danny Dailey & Tommy Gill. Honorary bearers will be Sarah Beth Davis, Roger Davis, Daniel & Johnathon McQuerry, Kelly Bolton, Valerie Bray & Barbara Keller. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday November, 23rd at the funeral home.
