Roger Dale Simpson

  Roger Dale Simpson, 65, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Christian Care Center. Born Monday, July 3, 1950, he was a son of Richard Simpson of Lancaster, & the late Adeline Rogers Grider. He was a member of the Christian faith. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother; Richard Dewayne Simpson. Survivors in addition to his father include a son; Richard Smith Simpson of Lancaster, a daughter; Emily Rochelle Simpson, of Richmond, aunt; Linda (Don) Watts, uncle; Ralph (Gloria) Tapp, & two grandchildren; Cadence Riley Mitchell & Elijah Simpson Abee. Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 PM October 23, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Elder Don Watts officiating and a burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jimmy Dickerson, Jonathan Adkins, Jamison Holtzclaw, Coy Lucas, Kevin Lucas & Ronnie Dailey. Visitation will be Friday, October 23, 2015 from 12 noon until service time.
