Ryan Ozeruga, 29, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Baptist Health of Lexington. Born on October 16, 1996, in Vancouver, Washington, he was a son of Igor & Mia Ozeruga. Ryan was a man of many trades and talents, but spent most of his time outdoors off-roading, shooting, surfing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his buddies. He was a truck driver, a mechanic, and enjoyed working in media on his days off.
Survivors other than his parents include a brother, Derek Peter Ozeruga of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters, Sophia Jan-Elizabeth Ozeruga, Emma Grace Ozeruga, and Naomi Louise Ozeruga, all of Lexington; maternal grandparents, Alexander & Milla Zakhariuk of Nicholasville; special friends, Simon Chumachenko, David Khayev, Ross Zuchenya, Oleg Romanyuk, Slavka Momotok, Ilya Getmanchuk, and David Zakhriuk.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Slavic Church of Evangelic Faith in Wilmore, Kentucky. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with Andrey Barbashevich officiating.
