Scott Bishop

Scott Darin Bishop, 54, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Baptist Health in Lexington. Scott was born May 4, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Shirley Stempfly Bishop & the late Elmer Bishop. Scott was a Computer Software Engineer at Steel Technologies, had attained a Bachelors Degree in computer software at Eastern Kentucky University, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Stanford, and enjoyed building and repairing computers. A devoted father and family man, Scott always put the needs of others in front of his own through tirelessly volunteering. Scott leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Lesa Howard Bishop, a daughter, Erin Bishop of Lexington, step-son, Derek Jenkins of Berea, granddaughter, Eva Jones, and a brother Bryan (Lois) Bishop of Lancaster. A Celebration of Life will be held for Scott at 12 Noon until 2:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with cremation following and inurnment at a later date. Honorary bearers will be Charles Purcell, Bryan Bishop, Derek Jenkins & Erin Bishop.
