Sondra L. (Cole) Davis

Sondra L. Davis, 80, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Maple Wood Health & Rehabilitation, in Lancaster. Born on Sunday, December 10, 1944 in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Charlie & Ruth Brooks Cole. Sondra was a former cosmetologist & hair stylist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Cameron McIlquham; brothers, Frank, Dennis, Danny & Roger Cole; sisters, Florence Cole Ross, Sue Cole Sanders & Emmy Cole Hickey.

Survivors include her devout husband of 30 years, Larry Davis; son, Kevin (Deanna) Turner, of Aiken, South Carolina; daughter, Kimberly Turner McIlquham, of Harlan County, Kentucky; two sisters, Brenda Cole Wilder, of Keokee, Virginia, and Mary Cole Hampton, of Harlan County, Kentucky.

Sondra’s wishes for cremation will be honored, and no services are scheduled at this time. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the doctors & nursing staffs at Ephraim McDowell Health and Maple Wood Health & Rehabilitation facilities.
