Terry C. Wells, 59 of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 26, 1966, in Barbourville, Kentucky, he was the son of Herbert C. (Genie) Wells, of Woodbine, Kentucky, and the late Margie Sue Lawson. Terry was an Electrical Engineer for RMS Energy. Terry was an avid deer hunter and Harley Davidson rider. He loved his motorcycles, and enjoyed gun collecting. As a H.A.M. radio operator, Terry was also known by his handle : “Outlaw Big Nasty”.
Survivors other than his father and step-mother include his loving wife of 18 years, Martha Florence Wells; son, Kurtis C. (Kearstie) Wells of Lancaster; daughters, Nikki Tyler Arnold of Somerset, and Cheryl (Joey) Drinkard of Nicholasville; sister, Teresa (Kenny) Coffey of Pine Knot; brother, Felix Moses, Jr. of Pine Knot, and many grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Wells Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky, with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell officiating. Pallbearers include Kurtis Wells, Christopher Baker, Joey Drinkard, Kenny Coffey, Doug Wells, Johnny Mosley & Seth Mosley. Honorary pallbearers include Nick (Christine) Swartz.
