Thelba “Buck” Winchester, 94, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Wednesday, February 4, 1931, in Wayne County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Logan & Della Winchester. Buck was a former U.S. Postal Carrier (by Mule), and a life-long farmer. He also enjoyed stone masonry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Ramsey Winchester; sons, Jackie Ray, Michael Lee, and Ricky Wayne Winchester; daughter, Gweneth Winchester.
Survivors include three sisters, Helen, Wanda, & Delsie; grandchildren, Cleo (Angel) Winchester, Chris (Lisa) Winchester, Jacky Monroe (Meghan) Winchester, Jessica Lee Winchester; twelve great-grandchildren, Jacob Bush, Tyler, Alexis, Riviera & Remington Winchester, Katlynn, Rosalyn & Ronan Winchester, Kandice Bolton, Damon, Cadence, and Jordan Deaton, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Denny officiating, and burial following at the Winchester Farm Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the funeral home.
