Vickie Feldman Obituary

Vickie D. Feldman, 74, of Lancaster, wife of Gary Feldman,  passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, in Danville. Born on July 14, 1951, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Dale & Agnes Prewitt Ray. As a loving wife to Gary for 52 years, Vickie was a homemaker, and also invested her time in the family business, Feldman’s Electric. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, in Lancaster, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends  at the Garrard County Senior Citizen’s Center. Vickie loved her family, and enjoyed walking horses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ray.

Survivors other than her husband Gary include her son, Ryan (Samantha) Feldman of Somerset; daughter, Nicole (the late Don) Hammack of Danville; sister, Cheryl (the late Ron) Strevig of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Harriet Ray, and her grandchildren, Sophia & Grace Hammack, Payson Feldman, and Cameron Morgan.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September, 22, 2025, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. William Catholic Church of Lancaster,  with Father John List officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Welch, Mike Feldman, Ralph Feldman, Thad Hollway, Gerald Pingleton, and Cliff Ed Irvin. Honorary pallbearers include John Ball, Bob McQuerry, Danny Irvin, Marilyn Prewitt, and Woody Leavell. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vickie’s memory may go to the Garrard County Senior Citizens Center.
