Vivian Christopher Kirby

Vivian Christopher Kirby, 63 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Tuesday, November 1, 1960 in Richmond, she was a daughter of the late Wade Moss & Tommie Triplett Christopher. Vivian worked as a CNA at Landmark of Lancaster for over 30 years until her passing, and had also earned a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoyed beach vacations with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Christopher.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, William “Buddy” Kirby of Lancaster; son, Jasper Lee Kirby of Lancaster; daughter, Aberiel (Jamie Lee) Walton, of Lancaster; sisters, Curraleen (James) Kelly of Berea, Janean (Billy Ray) Hughes of Waco, and her two beloved grandchildren, Parker Levi Walton and Katelyn Nicole Walton.

Memorial services and visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Freedom Baptist Church — 487 Freedom Rd. Lancaster, KY 40444 — with Bro. Mitchell Farthing officiating.
