Vladimir Barbashevich, 68, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, in Danville. Born on May 11, 1957, in Belarus, he was a son of the late Andrey & Anna Teloshko Barbashevich. Vladimir was an avid beekeeper, mechanic, pastor, and every day handyman. He was a Christian, and a member of the Slavic Church of Evangelic Faith, and served his church as a maintenance man.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Anna Skorina Barbashevich, of Lancaster, his sons, Andrey (Natalia) Barbashevich, of Versailles, Anatoliy (Julia) Barbashevich, of Nicholasville, Alex (Mila) Barbashevich, of California, Vladimir (Mila) Barbashevich, of Lancaster, Ilya (Nicole) Barbashevich, of Lancaster; his daughter, Lilya (Anatoliy) Kindruk, of Nicholasville; brothers, Pavel (Tatyana) Barbashevic, of California; sisters, Galina (Alex) Kerez, of California.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the Slavic Church of Evangelic Faith , 225 S. Walnut, Wilmore, Ky. 40390.
A graveside service will be held from 11:00AM-12:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles (1350 Troy Pike, Versailles, KY 40383), with Andrey Barbashevich officiating. Pallbearers include Andrey, Anatoliy, Alex, Vladimir, & Ilya Barbashevich, and Anatoliy Kindruk.
